Unraveling Taylor Swift’s celestial journey on her special day. Dive into her astrological chart, predictions, and cosmic connections in this birthday analysis.
Honoring Taylor Swift’s Birth: A Celestial Revelry
There are no coincidences when we examine the astrological chart of Taylor Swift, the iconic songwriter, social activist, crowd-pleaser, and perhaps the most mesmerizingly intentional and gifted pop star.
Taylor is at a culmination point energetically and spiritually as she is reaping the considerable adulation from the Swifties and those who have become more recently enamored with her ascended star as her fairytale romance in 21st-century fashion plays out against the panorama of the Northern and Southern Cross.
Taylor Swift, who many have grown up with, has been packing the cinema houses and the stage with ethereal yet rock-hewn solid performances as her swooning fans have come to expect.
Archetypal Resonance: Taylor as the Iconic Muse
It is rare in any society or Universe that a beautiful woman becomes almost deified because of her grace, beauty, and resonant message. Taylor’s magical personal aura resonates deeply with Archetypal Goddess energy, and she masterfully plays all aspects of each archetype with flawless precision and lyricism. She is her own and our Muse, our Venus, the Huntress, the High Priestess, the Warrior Woman, the Wise Woman, the Lover, and the Rejected Lover. Sometimes, our Muse is a provocative dominatrix, and sometimes, she is a Warrior for social justice as she sings in a Lavender haze against the corporate structure.
Most preciously, she embodies the Universal Mother as exemplified by her instincts and gentle love for her own dear mother and the way she mothers her fans. The Universal Mother is a Very Powerful Archetype in Taylor’s Astrological chart, with her Moon conjoining Jupiter in nurturant Cancer.
Because Taylor is a Goddess, we might contemplate that her birth might resemble the emergence of Venus, as depicted by Botticelli, born on sea spray blown into creation by the gentle winds Zephyr and Aura.
However, we know that she emerged as a songwriter, singer, and performer when she was around 11 and traveled to Nashville to hand out demo tapes of some of her recordings to anyone who would listen. When she was 13, this delicate willow of a girl, Taylor Swift, began a musical career etched into our folklore. Even the tantalizing titles of her Albums tease us into her enchanting mystery as we attempt to dive deeply to understand this prodigious genius who, by age 16, had authored over 150 songs.
Does our Diva, our Cinderella, finally have “someone I can call right now” who will bring joy and fulfillment into her life?
Exploring Taylor’s Astrology Chart
A study of her Astrology chart for her December 13, 1989 birthday should reveal some clues.
The time of Taylor’s birth has not been verified. Still, several have published it, and I have decided upon the often-used 5:17 AM time. I am using Reading PA as her birthplace, although Wyomissing PA is used by some astrologers. Obviously, Taylor Swift is intrigued with astrology as she has discussed conversations with Katy Perry about Astrology (2019 September Rolling Stone article). Katy Perry had suggested: “I’m a Scorpio. Scorpios just strike when feeling threatened.” And Taylor responded: “Well, I’m an Archer. We literally stand back, assess the situation, process how we feel about it, raise a bow, pull it back, and fire”.
So, studying Taylor’s chart without knowing if the birth time is accurate is engaging in a theoretical study. Still, after calculating charts for the two most popular birth times that are used, the chart that makes sense to me is this chart, which suggests her Birth time is 5:17 AM and her Ascendant is at 25° Scorpio 34’ with Mars conjunct her Ascendant and Mars as her ruling planet.
The other time of birth noted for Taylor is 8:46 PM. I have not thoroughly researched how these two birth times came about as I have to confess that I am newly a Swiftie while being an Old Astrologer.
However, the nighttime birth does not make as much sense to me. It creates a strong 6th house 12th house Axis in her chart, which does not seem in keeping with Taylor’s writing style and persona.
So, I am showing Taylor’s chart along with her Solar Return Chart for this year:
Astrologers use a combination of Returns to study one’s potential for the year ahead. In looking at Taylor Swift’s profected Astrology chart, the emphasis this year involves her 11th house, which is the early morning birth time, which is correct and is ruled by Mercury. Mercury also rules her 8th house cusp and is situated in her third house in her natal and profected solar return chart.
While 2023 for Taylor was all about being a shining star and raking in tons of money, 2024 is going to be about Taylor figuring out what she truly wants in life, analyzing her hopes and dreams with a bit of help from her friends, as the 11th house is about friends. What is striking about Taylor’s chart is that Mercury is going Retrograde on her birthday.
Mercury’s Retrograde: An Astrological Tale for Taylor
What message does Mercury offer to Taylor Swift in being Retrograde on this birthday? The Moon is applying a conjunction to Mercury in her Solar Return chart, suggesting that she may want to think deeply about how she wants to construct her life going forward.
With Mercury going Retrograde on her natal Mercury on her birthday, my Astroantenna believes that Taylor will and should give herself a January reprieve before rejoining her Eras tour. What is interesting is that Mercury is going direct on January 2 on the degree of Taylor’s Sun, and perhaps she will be spreading good news to her hundreds of millions of fans early next year.
I hope she does not make any wedding plans before next year, as Mercury suggests she must go within and away from the limelight to dive deeply into her own gestalt.
We are all enamored and want happiness in romance and life for her!
With Venus, early Aquarius Pluto will be transmitting that degree, and either Taylor will be “all in,” or she will be in a deep rethink.
I do not have any inkling of Travis Kelce’s birth time.
He was born in West Lake, Ohio, on October 5, 1989. He has the Sun in Libra, Mercury in Virgo, the sign of its rulership, and his Moon in Sagittarius, close to Taylor’s Sun.
I would love to see these two make it together!
Kelce is a “man” compared to all the boys she has dated.
Has the Queen of Irony, this Goddess, met her Forever Prince? Only time will tell.
Happy Birthday, Taylor!
